EPRI Tank Vibration RF Monitor

Transformer Vibration Sensor: This task is developing an RF monitor to measure vibration on transformer tanks. To date a RF monitor has been installed on an in-service transformer tank to assess the feasibility. The RF monitor provides a measure of both the harmonic and displacements occurring in real-time. Further algorithm developments are required before a field demonstration.
